WAEPA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Since 2007, WAEPA has proudly awarded more than $2.8 million in scholarships to more than 1,200 children of our members who are pursuing full-time study at two- and four-year institutions.

Applicants are required meet the following WAEPA eligibility requirements:

Children of WAEPA Members

Children of WAEPA Members insured under WAEPA’s Group Term Life Insurance Program and Short-Term Disability Insurance are welcomed to apply. All applicants must be under the age of 23.

High School Seniors or Graduates

High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

GPA of 3.0 (or its equivalent)

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

WAEPA Members and Associate Members are not eligible to apply.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Scholarship Management Services is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are provided equally regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
